Biography:
My name is Sweder de Vlugt, i’m a 20-year-old musician and producer based in the Netherlands. I’ve been involved with music my whole life and have been playing the saxophone since I was ten. While I primarily play jazz, I often blend electronic and jazz elements in my music . Additionally I’ve been learning piano and drums during the last few years.
Education:
Currently, I’m enrolled in the three-year Artist Music Production program at Firda. Here, I’m being trained to become a versatile music producer with expertise in various areas such as music production, mixing and media production. I am also studying conservatory jazz & pop saxophone at the HKU.
Qualities:
I rely heavily on my ears for music and have experience in saxophone improvisation. I also have a basic understanding of music theory and chords. On the production side, I have experience with a lot of different genres and like to experiment with new sounds.
Software:
The DAWs I use are Ableton Live 12 Suite and Pro Tools. I use Ableton mainly for music production and sound design. I also use reaper for batch editing and processing sounds
